Google‘s parent company Alphabet is also ready to lay off employees. Similar to Meta, Twitter, and Amazon, Alphabet also started efforts to lay off 10,000 employees. Currently, 1,87,000 people are working in this company. However, Alphabet has announced that it will fire employees who are not performing well.
Alphabet is also saying the same thing as Meta, Twitter, and Amazon when it comes to layoffs. It is said that the reason for the layoff is the tough conditions prevailing internationally. Branch Managers have been directed to prepare a list of underperforming employees through New Ranking and Performance Improvement Plan. The process of dismissal of employees will start in 2023.
