Superstar Ghattamaneni Krishna passed away. Krishna was admitted to Continental Hospital after falling ill on Sunday night. As he was in cardiac arrest, he was rushed to the emergency room and the doctors performed CPR. Later he was shifted to ICU and treated on a ventilator. But his health deteriorated and he breathed his last a little while ago.
Krishna was born in Burripalem, Tenali Mandal, Guntur District on May 31, 1943., he was introduced as a hero in the film ‘Tene Manasulu’. Gudhachari 116 gave him a good break. His films like Mosagallaku Mosagadu, pandanti kapuram, Devudu Chesina Manushulu , Alluri Sitaramaraju, Sakshi, Devadasu, Kurukshetram, Bhale Dongalu, Manassakshi, Eenadu, Simhasanam, Mudhu Biddda, Number 1′ have become milestone films in his career.
Krishna married Indira Devi in 1962. Ramesh Babu and Mahesh Babu are their two sons, and Padmavati, Manjula, and Priyadarshini are their three daughters.. Krishna married Vijaya Nirmala for love. Indira Devi, his first wife, died recently.. His second wife Vijyanirmala and son Ramesh Babu also passed away a few years ago. Now with the death of Krishna, the industry along with Mahesh Babu’s family has lost a legendary hero.
